COVID-19 Update
Due to COVID 19 and CDC regulations, we have enhanced our clients’ communication styles to submit and remit their tax information. Although a face-to-face tax interview is a viable option with CDC regulations, we have added additional options to safeguard all stakeholders.
How can you submit your tax documents in a safe environment?
• Clients can drop off their tax documents at our office and complete the required disclosure documents. Our tax professionals will follow up with additional information requests to thoroughly meet your specific tax preparation needs.
• You can upload your documents through our secure portal. Our tax professionals will confirm receipt and follow up with additional information requests if needed. We can align a variety of optional features with this style, e.g.
• Phone call or conference call to communicate status and receive supplemental data. • We can send you an invitation to communicate in a virtual Microsoft
Teams meeting where we can enact several modalities:
• We can virtually communicate while we continue to process your return. • Request real-time additional information. • Answer your questions. • share our screen with you throughout the interview. |
How can you receive, review, and sign your tax documents in a virtual environment?
• You can receive, review, and sign your return through Docu-Sign, a secure portal to receive and send documents. For example:
• We will send you an email that your documents are ready for review. • Once you open the link, Docu-Sign will ask you a couple of questions to verify correspondence with the appropriate person. • You can then review your return and save your return. • If all documents appear to be correct, you can sign your return and close the link. • We will receive your signed documents and electronically file your return. • If we have your original tax documents, we will contact you to pick them up or mail them to you. |
• You can also receive your documents by logging into our Intuit link from the request we would have sent you at the beginning of the tax season. |
