Ms. Paula M. Thoresen
Paula graduated from James Madison University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. She served in the US Army as a Signal Corps officer in the position of a communications quality assurance team leader in Germany. Her experience as a tax professional includes 32 seasons with a major tax preparation company as a tax preparer, tax-training instructor, and office manager; one season with a major accounting firm as a tax preparer for US citizens working abroad; and two seasons as a volunteer tax preparer in the Staff Judge Advocate’s office at Fort Greely, Alaska, preparing returns for soldiers and civilians assigned to Fort Greely. Paula has been an Enrolled Agent since 1999 and licensed to practice before the IRS assisting taxpayers with their audits or appeals.
